Led a talented team of 28 to scale-up this travel comparison website offering market leading flight and holiday deals to a travel hungry, cost conscious user base. As Managing Director, I held full P&L and commercial responsibility for a business which saw an 83% increase in EBITDA over a 6 year period. We had a lot of fun to!
Bennetts Motorcyle Insurance
Digital Strategy Reboot for the UK’s #1 for Bike Insurance. A board level position with a focus on re-energising online customer acquisition through a market leading acquisition approach. Created strategies for online and partnerships – all developed ahead of schedule and quickly implemented to deliver immediate impact. Launched innovative microsite for British Superbike sponsorship, ensuring a key online viral presence.
Virgin Holidays
Leading the digital strategy for one of the UK’s best known leisure brands for over five years. The result was an innovative, customer driven web business which delivered dramatic sales growth YOY as well as substantial cost savings.
Thomas Cook Signature
A remit to rapidly expand online B2B sales for the upmarket arm of Thomas Cook. This led to a seismic change in travel agent booking behaviour within six months.

Was privileged to spend two years on the Thomson Graduate Scheme which combined travel industry insight with general management training. This included working as a rep in Austria and creating one of the first iterations of the TUI website (back in 1997!)
